Our History

Rooted in Faith,
Built on Purpose

Founded in 1969 by a group of Muslim girls of Taleem-ul-Banat College, Multan, committed to Islamic values and service — IJT has grown into Pakistan's most impactful female student movement.

Established in Multan by pioneering Muslim women dedicated to Islamic education and service.

Expanded to universities and colleges across all provinces of Pakistan with 12,000+ members.

Today operating in 70+ cities with 200+ educational units and 279 residential units nationwide.

Da'wah & Knowledge

To convey the message of Islam to the female students, to induce them to acquire its knowledge, to awaken them to the task of fulfilling its requirements in practical life and to prove the superiority of Islam over other systems of life.

Organization & Unity

To organize under the Jamiat, those female students who are ready to strive for the establishment of Islamic way of life.

Ideological Training

To make effective arrangements for the development of ideological and moral training for those students who join the Jamiat.

Moral Reform

To put an end to the ever increasing trend of obscenity and the lack of morals amongst female students and to promote Islamic values, virtues, traditions and qualities.

Education & Advocacy

To struggle for the establishment of the Islamic educational system in Pakistan and to struggle for the genuine demands of female students, to make efforts to solve the problems faced by these students and to guide them in their collective problems.
