This Privacy Policy applies to both the website and the Tazkiyah mobile application.

1.  About the Organization and App

Islami Jamiat Talibat Pakistan is a national female student organization working for the moral, academic, and ideological development of female students in Pakistan, guided by the principles of Islam.

Tazkiyah is an internal-use mobile application developed exclusively for registered members of the organization to support:

• Personal accountability
• Training and curriculum management
• Task tracking and reporting
• Organizational supervision

The app is not intended for public use and is accessible only to authorized members.

2.  Information We Collect

a. Information Provided by Users

When using the Tazkiyah app, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address (used for login and identification)
• Assigned organizational role or category
• Tasks, reports, and activity progress

This data is collected solely for internal organizational and accountability purposes.

b. Automatically Collected Information

Limited technical data may be collected automatically, including:

• Device type and operating system
• App usage statistics
• Date and time of access
• Error and crash logs

This information is used only for security, maintenance, and performance improvement.

3.  Authentication & Backend Services

The Tazkiyah app uses Firebase services, including:

• Firebase Authentication (email-based login)
• Cloud Firestore Database (secure data storage)

Firebase may collect limited technical data in accordance with Google’s privacy policies. Islami Jamiat Talibat Pakistan does not control Firebase’s internal data-handling practices.

4.  Organizational Data Visibility

To ensure accountability and supervision:

• Certain user activity data (tasks, reports, progress) may be visible to designated Nigran (supervisors)
• Data visibility follows the organizational hierarchy only
• No data is shared publicly

This visibility is an essential part of the app’s core purpose.

5.  Notifications

The app may send notifications for:

• Task reminders
• Organizational updates
• Accountability-related alerts

Notifications are functional only and non-promotional.

6.  Sensitive Information

The app does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, including:

• Health or medical data
• Biometric data
• Financial information
• Media files (images, audio, video)

All collected information is limited to organizational necessity.

Collected information is used strictly to:

• Operate and maintain the Tazkiyah app
• Support internal accountability and reporting

• The user remains a registered member

Once an account is deactivated, all associated data is permanently deleted as described below.

11.  Account Deactivation & Data Deletion Policy

We believe users must always remain in full control of their personal information.

The Tazkiyah app follows privacy-first principles and stores only necessary data, including:

• Profile and account information
• Tasks and activity progress
• Notes or saved entries
• Notifications and reminders
• App-related relationships or connected records

We do not sell or rent personal data. Islami Jamiat Talibat Pakistan is a non-profit organization.

How to Delete or Deactivate Your Account

The app provides a built-in account deactivation feature:

1. Open the Profile section in the app
2. Tap Deactivate Account
3. A confirmation warning will appear
4. Type “DEACTIVATE” to confirm
5. The deletion process begins immediately

What Happens When You Deactivate Your Account?

Deactivation triggers a complete and irreversible deletion of:

• User profile
• All assigned tasks
• Notes and saved entries
• Activity records and relationships
• Notifications and app-generated data

The following database collections are deleted:

• users
• tasks
• notes
• afraad
• notifications

Firebase Account Removal

In addition to database deletion:

• Your Firebase Authentication account is removed
• Login credentials are erased
• The account no longer exists in our system

You cannot sign in again unless a new account is created.

Security Measures

To prevent accidental deletion, we apply:

• Explicit confirmation requirement
• Authentication verification
• Immediate permanent deletion
• Safe error handling

After Deactivation

Once the process is complete:

• You are automatically signed out
• Local app cache is cleared
• You are redirected to the welcome screen

12.  Children’s Privacy

The app is intended for female students aged 13 and above.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Our website or app may contain links to third-party resources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

14.  Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
